WhatsApp Template Generator
Write a template and see it checked against Meta's rules as you type — the same checks our own customers get before they submit.
- Marketing, Utility and OTP
- Checked against Meta's rules
- Copy straight into your WABA
Passes every mechanical rule Meta checks. Approval still depends on the content.

}How to write a WhatsApp template that gets approved
- 1
Choose Marketing, Utility or Authentication - each has its own rules.
- 2
Write the body with {{1}}-style variables, and add a header, footer or buttons if you need them.
- 3
Fix anything the checker flags, then copy the JSON or the text into your WhatsApp Business account.
Why templates get rejected
Most rejections are mechanical and have nothing to do with what you wrote. A variable sitting at the very start or the very end of the body, two variables with nothing between them, numbering that skips or starts at {{2}}, a variable in the footer, a name with a capital letter or a space. Every one of those is checked above as you type, which is the fastest way to stop losing a day per resubmission.
The rejections that are about content come down to one thing: whether the message reads like something the person agreed to receive. A template that opens cold, sells hard and offers no way out gets refused, and the refusals start counting against a new account.
Pick the category honestly. Utility follows something the customer did; Marketing is anything you want them to see. Labelling a promotion as Utility to pay less is the single most common reason a template comes back — Meta reads the copy, and recategorises or rejects.
Questions people ask
Why do WhatsApp templates get rejected?
Most rejections are mechanical, not editorial: a variable at the very start or end of the body, two variables with nothing between them, numbering that does not start at {{1}}, a footer containing a variable, or a name with spaces or capitals. This tool checks all of those as you type. The rest are content issues - the wrong category, or copy that reads like a cold sales pitch to someone who never opted in.
What is the difference between Marketing and Utility?
Utility follows something the customer did - an order, a booking, a payment, a delivery. Marketing is anything you want them to see: offers, launches, re-engagement. The line matters because Meta charges them at very different rates, and labelling a promotion as Utility gets the template rejected or recategorised.
What do the {{1}} variables do?
They are the gaps you fill at send time - a name, an order number, a date. Number them in order from {{1}}, keep real words around them, and remember that a variable cannot be the first or last thing in the message.
Can I submit the template from here?
No. Submitting goes through the WhatsApp Business account that owns the number, because an approved template is tied to that account. This tool writes and checks the template; you paste it into your own account, or into AiOneChat, and submit from there.
How long does approval take?
Usually minutes, sometimes up to 24 hours. A rejected template can be edited and resubmitted. Repeated rejections across a new account slow later reviews down, which is a good reason to get the mechanics right the first time.
What about an OTP or authentication template?
Meta writes the body for those itself from the language you pick, and allows exactly one Copy code button - you cannot set your own wording. Pick Authentication here and the output follows that shape. If you need custom copy, it belongs in a Utility template instead.
Writing it is step one. Submitting and sending needs an account.
An approved template belongs to the WhatsApp Business account that owns the number. AiOneChat sets that number up, submits templates for you, tracks approval, and sends to the people who opted in — with the same checks you just used.
